Motorpitch has that Dancehall approach in his music - rough and raw to keep your feet on the floor, and a sweet melody that makes you look up to the sky and smile.
About 5 years ago, Motorpitch left the comfort of his engineering studio and went for a 2 month trip to Jamaica, earning his living by recording dubplates for various Jamaican sound systems. He went to the parties and dances set up in the middle of the road or in the woods, and was blown away by the passionate and sharing attitude that Jamaicans had towards their music. He took a piece of this attitude back to his studio in Vienna, and started making music again with a whole new heart.
Motorpitch is a combination of a dj, a producer, and an engineer - so he knows what makes you dance, how to go about it making it and how to make it sound great. From his afro meets bassline version of indie supergroup Mongrel's "Hit from the Morning Sun" to the most recent remixes for Wildlife!, Tonka, Top Billin and Schlachthofbronx, Motorpitch always delivers the goods that keep his tunes securely in the playlists of club and radio djs all over the world.
Apart from constantly working on original material and remixes, Motorpitch is keeping himself busy with djing in clubs across Europe and doing mixes for various acclaimed radio stations such as Radio FM4 and Ministry of Sound.
